Shipping policy

Orders placed on this website are shipped from our HQ in Powell River, BC, Canada. Our standard shipping option ships within Canada with Canada Post or UPS, and worldwide with Canada Post. You must contact us directly for other shipping services than those that appear at the checkout.

For those ordering from outside of Canada, your package will be handed off to your national postal service once it reaches your country. US customers should provide an address that allows delivery with USPS.

Shipping times listed at checkout reflect standard transit times, but not the full shipping time. It sometimes takes me one or two business days to get all orders boxed up, and local post office cut off times can also add to the total time to delivery.

If you have an urgent deadline to receive your order, please contact me and I can see what is possible.

Tracking info:

The tracking info you receive after ordering will link to a Canada Post tracking page. In most cases, the same tracking info can be used with your domestic postal service. Sometimes there will be additional information by checking the tracking number with your national postal service.

Duties and taxes:

For Canadian customers, all taxes are calculated and collected on checkout.

For US customers, tariffs/duties are added as a line item at check out. We collect these and remit them through Canada Post's mandatory brokerage partner, Zonos. Your order will be delivered as DDP (delivered duty paid) so that no further amount will be due.

Duties and taxes are not collected for international customers outside the US or Canada. For European customers, VAT is usually collected by the postal service upon delivery. Check out our dealers page to find international dealers that can help minimize these costs.

Returns:

Returns of unused product are accepted. Customers are responsible for returning items in person or by mail to our shop in Powell River, Canada. Refunds are issued upon return of the product.
